
Austin Schmitz is a Systems Engineer with a multidisciplinary background spanning robotics, automotive engineering, and mechanical design. Armed with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Austin leverages hands-on hardware and robotic experience to solve complex, cross-functional integration challenges. Austin serves as a support contractor offering expertise to the development of the next generation weapon systems architecture framework as part of the Digital Acquisition and Support Office (DASO). He leads the team's exploratory efforts by focusing on cutting-edge developments such as SysML V2 applications and software integrations using the KerML API. He brings a unique perspective to the panel, bridging the gap between physical subsystem design and high-level modular system architecture.
