STEVEN DRAKE is a senior systems operations research leader with the Assistant Deputy for Acquisition Systems Management in Data, Engineering and Software (ADASM-DES) within the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition Logistics and Technology headquarters. He holds a M.S. in Systems Acquisition Management from The Naval Postgraduate School and B.S. in Geophysics from the University of Texas at El Paso. He served on active duty with the United States Army in the Air Defense Artillery and Acquisition Corps in a range of assignments to include the director for Army interoperability engineering, testing and certification. After leaving active duty, he directed network interoperability, integration and testing for companies supporting Army, Joint and Coalition system development. He has since returned to Government service and joined the Army Civilian Acquisition Corps as the Director of System of Systems Acquisition Decision Information at ADASM-DES. Steven is DAU certified in Program Management and Contracting.
