Dr. Alexander Redei is a Principal Software Engineer at Sierra Nevada Corporation. An educator, software engineer, and leader: he has over 21 years of experience in academia, industry, and government. His admiration of military and civil aviation led to building advanced research flight simulation models. Dr. Redei has 16 publications - focusing on artificial intelligence (reinforcement learning), flight simulation, as well as open software architectures. Alex has a Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Science degrees in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Nevada – Reno. His Bachelor of Science degree in Computer science is also from the University of Nevada – Reno.
