Mr. Oliver Fritz is the Director for Operational Energy in the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Environment and Energy Resilience. As the Director of Operational Energy, Mr. Fritz oversees policies and programs enhancing the resilience of operational energy supply chains, increasing energy supportability, and decreasing energy demand for air, sea, and land platforms. Prior to joining the Office of the Secretary of Defense, he was Assistant Director of Strategic Planning at HQ U.S. Air Force, and directed analyses that shaped decisions and long-range investments in capabilities, technology, and posture. Before entering Federal service, Mr. Fritz was a Principal at DFI Government Services, where he led teams in support of strategy development and execution, operational analyses, and organizational change at the Department of Defense, including multiple Quadrennial Defense Reviews. Mr. Fritz has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California at Berkeley, and a Master of Science in Political Science from the Security Studies Program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
