Lt Col Love is dual hatted as a reservist as the Cyber Mission Assurance Branch Chief, PACAF A634, Hickam Air Force Base (AFB), HI and in the Warfighting Operations Commications Branch, INDOPACOM J634, Camp Smith Marine Corp Base, HI.  He leads the team that manages the proactive and defensive cybersecurity teams across the Pacific theater.  He is leading to initiatives within the theater named POISONED DRAGON and POISONED ENIGMA.  He also is a key player in multiple cybersecurity and defensive cyber working groups across PACAF, INDOPACOM and ACC. 

 

Lt Col Love entered the Air Force by graduating with a Statistics Degree from the University of New Mexico and commissioned through the Reserve Officer Training Corp in 2004.  His first duty assignment was Barksdale Air Force Base in the 2nd Communication Squadron.  He has completed nearly 14 years of active duty, four years in the Maryland Air National Guard, and one year in the Air Force Reserve.  He has two masters degrees in Cybersecurity related fields, one from Boston University and the other from Brown University.  Prior to his current position, the Lieutenant Colonel was the Cyber Planner within the National Security Mission Center at the National Cyber Investigation Joint Task Force and served as the Section 1650 lead at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency while he was activated within the Maryland Air National Guard.
