Jorge Lacoste manages the Cybersecurity Threat Analysis Group within the Cybersecurity Research Center. In this role, he helps both industry and national security partners navigate the cyber risks and consequences of current and future energy systems changes. Lacoste’s research focuses on providing analysis for at-scale questions at the system-of-system level that bridge cybersecurity threats to real world consequences. Lacoste also serves as the NREL principal investigator for the Energy Threat Analysis Center which is an operational collaboration between U.S. Department of Energy labs, government, and electric utilities working to characterize and respond to threats at mission-relevant speed.
