MSgt Robert Cameron is the Superintendent of the Data and AI Operations Branch in the Current Operations Division, Headquarters Space Force. As the Superintendent, he is responsible for the development of senior leader analytical tools that drive operational insight to assist in headquarters decision making.
The marquee tools developed within the Data and AI Operations branch are the Senior Leader Awareness Tool (SLAT) which fuses Readiness reporting and Operational Reporting while using AI to derive overarching and emerging topics and trends. The Space Watch Awareness Tool (SWAT) consolidates the Space Force Service Watch Cell processes and events into an intuitive application providing continuity of knowledge across 24x7 watch shifts and events. Lastly, the Operational Reporting Tool provides the Space Force with a structured input for tactical level command and control nodes to provide operational reports and status to the Service Watch Cell in the National Military Command Center.
Sergeant Cameron was born in Cincinnati, Ohio. His hometown is Whitefield, ME where he spent his formative years. He entered the Air Force in January 2012 as a Radio Frequency Transmission Systems Technician. His career includes performing a variety of satellite communications missions in the United Kingdom, Nevada and California. During 2020, Sergeant Cameron became the first cohort of guardians to become Supra Coders in the United States Space Force just prior to transferring in February 2021.
