Andrew Hermetet, PMP, is a Principal Engineer and Department Manager at Redwire Space. He currently works in the Space Missions Business Unit as the Modeling and Simulation Lead on a number of national security and commercial VLEO programs. Prior to joining Redwire and working in the space industry, Mr. Hermetet spent a decade working on transient fluid dynamics, conjugate heat transfer, and optimization problems across numerous velocity regimes and industries, including Formula 1. Along with a BSc with research distinction in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the Ohio State University, Mr. Hermetet holds patents relating to CFD simulation methodology and wind tunnel design.
