Dr. Servoss is the Director of the L3Harris/SAS Mission Solutions Group (MSG). MSG builds and maintains relationships with customer and business leadership to understand mission needs and to develop architectures that meet those needs drawing from the extensive L3Harris capabilities across all Space and Airborne Systems technologies. Most recently, Dr. Servoss served as the capture Chief Systems Engineer for several Missile Warning / Missile Defense prime pursuit opportunities, including SDA Tranche 1, Tranche 2, and Tranche 3 Tracking Layer, and SSC’s Missile Track Custody Epoch 2 program.
Dr. Servoss started his career with Eastman Kodak, now a part of L3Harris Technologies, in 1992 as an Image Scientist. During his 30+ year career, Tom has held a variety of Engineering, Engineering Management, Program Management, and Business Development positions.  He has worked on programs and projects including those involving image algorithm development, operational image quality assurance, software development, systems engineering, space hardware system design, electronic subsystem analysis, and space system integration and test. Additionally, Tom has assisted in the development and optimization of a variety of internal engineering and capture processes and IRAD project planning.
Dr. Servoss holds a BS, MS (remote sensing focus), and PhD (medical imaging focus) in Imaging Science from Rochester Institute of Technology. He lives in Rochester, NY, with his wife and two daughters.
