Sarah Freese is currently an Account Executive and cloud sales professional at AWS for Aerospace and Satellite. At AWS, she supports emerging startups on their path to success by harnessing cloud technologies and building go-to-market strategies alongside her team. She is looking forward to understand each winner’s priorities and how cloud and AI tools can eliminate roadblocks. Sarah graduated from UCLA in 2022 with a degree in Public Affairs and has a professional background in non-profit fundraising, marketing, and recruiting. Before AWS, Sarah worked for Teach For America, Inc. sourcing top teaching talent and training future STEM educators tackling educational inequity in low-income schools. This experience bred her passion for helping other women navigate early careers in tech and aerospace, as she now serves on the leadership board of SSPI-WISE, an organization focused on X.
Sarah plays an active role in her community through running a mental health organization for Amazon employees, as well as mentoring interns and new employees to develop their professional and emotional intelligence skills. In her free time she enjoys going to the gym, exploring New York City (her newest place of residence), and traveling to new cities and countries.
