The Satellite Accountability Blockchain (StAB) is a Machine Learning enabled cataloging system for orbital objects which implements patented US Air Force technology to provide track correlation using resource optimizing mathematical methods. The licensed orbital clustering algorithm identifies the number of distinct orbits that have been observed within a large set of time stamped location observations, then assigns labels to these orbits to indicate which measurements share the same orbital elements, e.g. are effectively the same object. StAB uses a private blockchain to minimize cybersecurity risk by logging SDA data and orbital activity in a secure, near-incorruptible ledger. It is built on a dedicated server equipped with the latest, scalable networking, processing and graphics needed to enable AI operations and robust data visualization. StAB is meant to automate uncertainty management, track correlation and threat detection for the US Space Force 18SDS which currently conducts this analysis manually.
