For fee purposes, a startup is defined as a company that is under three years old and pre-revenue. Academia registration is for full-time faculty at an academic institution. A valid employee or academia email is required at registration. Adjunct faculty is not eligible for this rate.

Contractors do not qualify for government registration and must register as industry. A valid military/government email is required at registration.

A valid military employee email is required at the time of registration, and military ID is required at onsite check-in. Reservists, National Guard, and retired military are not considered full-time active duty personnel. DoW contractors do not qualify for this rate. Cancellations made by January 15, 2027 will be refunded less a $150.00 processing fee.
Cancellations after January 15, 2027 are non-refundable.
