A curated review committee, consisting of investors, industry and government, will select up to 35 respondents as finalists. Finalists will each receive two (2) free registrations for the Defense TechConnect Innovation Summit and Expo at National Harbor near Washington, D.C. in November 2023 where they will pitch their solutions and vie for $10M in funding. Following pitches, a review panel will award prizes to up to ten (10) winners.

Reviewers will evaluate all pitch presentations in the Defense Business Accelerator Microelectronics Challenge according to the following criteria:

Technology viability 20 points
Convincing pathway to commercialization 25 points
Applicability and impact to defense needs 20 points
Business and technical team 25 points
Novelty 10 points

Reviewers will optimize the funds available based on applicant scores and needs.
