A curated review committee, consisting of investors, industry and government, will select up to 35 respondents as finalists. Finalists will each receive two (2) free registrations for the Defense TechConnect Innovation Summit and Expo at National Harbor near Washington, D.C. in November 2023 where they will pitch their solutions and vie for $10M in funding. Following pitches, a review panel will award prizes to up to ten (10) winners.
Reviewers will evaluate all pitch presentations in the Defense Business Accelerator Microelectronics Challenge according to the following criteria:
Technology viability | 20 points |
Convincing pathway to commercialization | 25 points |
Applicability and impact to defense needs | 20 points |
Business and technical team | 25 points |
Novelty | 10 points |
Reviewers will optimize the funds available based on applicant scores and needs.
